Similar to Windows 2000 or NT or Solaris you need to stick to hardware that works.

Compairing Ubuntu 8.04 to XP isn&#039;t really fair - you should compare it with Vista. I&#039;ve been running Ubuntu 6.06 LTS since it first came out on a IBM Thinkpad very happily.</description>
